Research Participant Information and Consent Form

MSc in Technology Enhanced Learning, Innovation and Change,

Sheffield Hallam University

You are being asked to participate in a research study of digital storytelling within organisations. The research is being undertaken as part of an MSc in Technology Enhanced Learning, Innovation and Change at Sheffield Hallam University. The researcher is Chris Thomson of JISC Netskills.

Should you agree, your involvement will be at least one interview lasting approximately between 40 and 90 minutes and participation in a follow-up workshop or interview. There may also be a number of small voluntary tasks related to the research topic.

Participation in this research is completely voluntary. You have the right to say no. You may change your mind at any time and withdraw. You may choose not to answer specific questions or to stop participating at any time.

All data gathered, where possible, will be anonymised. It may be desirable to include certain pieces of information or digital media in the final dissertation where individuals could be identified. You will be informed of any instances of this and you have the right to withdraw your permission for their use at any time.

Whether you choose to participate or not will have no effect on any work-based projects or personal evaluations.
